We started the day early out in the dinghy trying to reduce the weed problem after having to abandon scored racing on Wednesday.

A cold, wet and gusty day for the 7 sailors today.

Very light wind this morning, so a bit of a delay until it puffed in from the WNW and racing got underway.

Only 4 today for handicap racing in a nice A+ breeze. The racing saw some close finishes as we all bunched at the gate for the long battle to the windward finish line.

A very fickle and light NNW wind today that had lots of holes and shifts, which meant you were never out of contention for a podium as long as you concentrated and reacted to the changing conditions.

Six sailors on the pond today with a nice B rig breeze from the NE that had quite a few gusts causing a few nose dives and a few lulls and shifts to make for an interesting day.

There were 6 of us who turned up to be greeted by a rather strong SW wind which was ideal in the lulls for the C rigs but flattened everybody in the gusts.
