Good to see 9 boats on the pond today with what started as a gentle NNE and swung through the morning to become a slightly stronger NNW with a bit of W at times.

A gentle SSW at the start the day, which slowly strengthened over the morning and swung to the South.

A very light ESE to start the morning with 7 sailors on the water.

We had a nice steady ENE wind near the top end for A rigs to start the day with a mix of A and B rigs on the water.

Apart from a little bit of floating weed (probably from the wild life) todays sailing had people smiling and was much less frustrating with a predictable wind from the WNW.

GOOD NEWS! Sailing returns to the Sanford Road Lake for the DF65 Scratch Race tomorrow, usual 9.30am start.

The water level is much higher after the rains and the bottom weed level seems to have dropped as well, so fingers crossed we can continue on there from this week.

A slightly stronger breeze and this time from the ENE, so still very tricky to work your way to windward and stay in the puffs downwind.
