A great turnout of 11 boats for the final days racing before the Christmas break.

Today we had 11 yachts on the water and it was good seeing Murray Deere back racing his DF 65. We started off with a Westerly wind and most starting with A+ rigs, but after the first race the wind changed to a strong SW.

Shortened course Championship heat.

The weed impact needed relocation of the buoys another 15m to the west.

The breeze was from the west to SW over the morning at 8 to 20 kts, with it filling in toward the end of the mornings sailing.

A good size fleet of 11 boats on the water today for the 10th Champs race today.

Today we had 11 yachts on the water with a guest sailor in Nigel who will be doing more sailing with the club when in Albany.

 Another good turnout of 8 boats for todays 8th Heat of Handicap racing.

Brian has comfortable win.

Practice before racing bought the realisation that racing around the eastern buoys was risky with weed regularly being hooked.

Racing was changed to use the buoys around the fountain making shorter courses.

8 Boats started the day in a WSW breeze that favoured those who chose A rigs.
