The breeze was from the WNW and strong enough for everyone to start with B rigs. We began with a full length course but shortened it a little as the strengthening wind started creating some backwash of the eastern wall. Colin Mc sailed impressively until missing 2 heats when the mast stub disintergrated and the B rig laid flat on the water. A quick change to his new B rig and he carried on with a 2nd and two 1sts to win the day. John K was 2nd and Les B was one point behind was 3rd. Then came Grant T, Geoff C and Brian R who left after heat 4 with boat failure.
