Wednesday we had 9 yachts turn up for the handicap day.
We welcome two new members in Mike Wall and Nigel Paul. The wind for the morning was a strong Easterly wind with most starting with “B” rigs, Phil R had only a “A” rig and pulled out in the first race. Grant got hooked up on a white buoy and had to take a dip to retrieve his yacht. Halfway through the morning Nigel turned up with a “C” rig and then Les went to a “C” rig. Nigel and Les had success after changing and had some good finishes.
The winner of the day was Brian Holman #645 closely followed by Tony Turner #18, 3rd Peter Truphet #34, 4th Les Brown #52
