If the DF65 racing on Wednesday was challenging due to the shifty winds, today's conditions were just as testing.
We started with 5 boats and the wind at the top end of our A rigs.
By the time heat 1 got under way it was raining, which washed the wind away and we encountered light winds to calm that oscilated around the compass.
We managed only 4 heats on 3 different courses which tells a story in itself.
Murray D #18 showed his light weather skills and won 3 of the 4 heats, Peter B #818 finished a close 2nd, Geoff C #24 sailed well for a 3rd place. Les B #652 was next after only sailing one race before a failed rudder servo put him out and Brian R #31 also sailed only one race before head home out of the miserable weather.
