IOM Social Handicap Sailing, March 3rd

Quiet day for a Social sail

Another small fleet were greeted with a quiet breeze, starting from ENE at 5 kts but abating to 1-3 kts over the morning and moving to the SE.

Welcome to Mark E., a new club member who has revamped an older IOM, Mark sailed really well considering it was his first go with an IOM. Refinements to the rig will make Mark most competitive.

Peter T showed patches of good speed and sailing grabbing a couple of early wins.

Phil sported a 95 for the morning to top up the numbers getting in the groove later in the morning whilst enjoying his day on the water.

Greg sailed pretty consistently to grab the win for the morning.
